Eivor’s primary goal of founding a new home for his clan ties directly into the game’s base management mechanic. The past games have dabbled in customizable base mechanics but Valhalla takes everything even further. Time to settle downīase management will play a grand role in the AC game like never before in the series. The Vikings’ demolishing the landowners of England translates to the downfall of the Templar order as well. Eivor isn’t necessarily part of the Assassin group, but he’s shown to be willing to work with them due to sharing the same goal. However, certain details regarding Eivor’s involvement with the Assassin order have been revealed in the past. Ubisoft has stayed mum regarding the intricacies of the game’s campaign. Some of Eivor’s confirmed combat capabilities include throwing axes, the ability to dual-wield pretty much all weapons, and the return of the classic hidden blade. Valhalla will feature epic-scale battles in addition to small raids that will take place across the game’s campaign.ĭifferent enemy types will make the combat more engaging and require added agency from the player. Thankfully, Ubisoft is no stranger to designing battles and combat mechanics so AC: Valhalla will not falter in what may be its most important aspect.
